Officine Stampaggi Industriali (OSI)
was set up in 1960 as a subsidiary of Ghia, with seat in Turin (Italy), to build cars for different car manufactures. The company was created in 1960 by Luigi Segre (former president of Ghia) and Arrigo Olivetti. The aim of the new company was to produce models designed by Ghia as well as production tools for the industry. Sedans and sports cars with own OSI Design were built for Alfa Romeo, Fiats, Ford and Innocenti in usually small numbers. The probably most well-known vehicle was the Ford OSI 20 M TS Coupé.

Mr. Sergio Sartorelli

In 1956 a young designer, Sergio Sartorelli, joined the design team of Ghia, working alongside more established names such as Coggiola. In 1962 Luigi Segre died, Sartorelli resigned and OSI got less dependent from Ghia. Sergio was head of designs for cars like Fiat 2300S or Type 34 Karmann Ghia. Now in OSI, Mr. Sartorelli took the coupé version of the Taunus OSI 20M TS to the Geneva motor show and the spider version to the 1967 Turin Motor Show. This was in fact the last appearance of one OSI in a motor show.
