Welcome to the National Association of Street Clubs
It´s almost forty years since the NASC began campaigning to unite the interests of all Rod and Custom enthusiasts throughout the UK and, that´s still our main aim.
But this campaign is getting ever more challenging and has genuinely never been quite so important; changes to the legislation with regard to the registration and use of modified and one-off vehicles have already happened and other major changes are continually being considered. The NASC has already joined forces with the NSRA, other interested parties and the hard-working staff of the Association of Car Enthusiasts (ACE), to provide a collective voice to the legislators on behalf of all automotive clubs and enthusiasts.
The NASC - originally founded in 1974 by a dedicated band of enthusiasts - was then an umbrella organisation for the rapidly growing number of Street Rod clubs. Although expansion was truly rapid in the early years, that expansion has now slowed, but the association is still steadily growing with members now hailing from all around the World. It encompasses the Street Rod, Custom, American and even Drag Racing fraternities; their membership happening as they all grew and realised the potential of being part of a larger organisation.
As the only association within the sport to cater for such a wide variety of enthusiasts the NASC is here to stay, so whether you are an established enthusiast or a complete newcomer, you will be made most welcome when joining the NASC or attending one of our events.
So if like the existing members of the NASC, you value your freedom to build and drive such vehicles, it would make sense for you to join the association and add to its strength in numbers.
